We provide tree removal, trimming, stump grinding and palm care throughout Palm City, from the river neighborhoods off the South Fork of the St. Lucie to the larger lots out along Martin Highway. Estimates are free and written, and a removal for a typical Palm City tree runs $250–$700 for a small one to $1,800–$4,500 for a big oak over the house.
Tree work in Palm City
Palm City sits across the river from Stuart, but the trees are different in a few useful ways. The older neighborhoods closer to the water have big live oaks and laurel oaks that have been growing since the area was citrus and cattle land, many of them now reaching over second-story roofs. The golf and gated communities like Martin Downs have rows of planted queen and royal palms that need trimming on a schedule. Further west, larger parcels mix slash pine, saw palmetto and stands of Brazilian pepper along the back fences.

What Palm City homeowners call us for
- Oaks over the roof. Trimming laurel and live oaks back off shingles and screen enclosures, and thinning them before storm season.
- Community palm schedules. Palm trimming for queens and royals along driveways and pool decks, with seed stalks taken before they drop.
- Riverfront removals. Removing trees that lean over docks and seawalls, rigged down so nothing ends up in the water.
- Back-lot cleanups. Clearing pepper and overgrowth on the bigger western lots, with stumps ground after.

Palm City questions
How quickly can you get to Palm City?
Palm City is a short run across the river from our Stuart base, so estimates are usually booked within a day or two, and emergency calls are treated the same as in Stuart.
Do Palm City HOAs need to approve tree removal?
Many of the deed-restricted communities in Palm City ask owners to get architectural review approval before a tree comes out, separate from any county permit. Check with your HOA first; we can give you a written description of the work to attach to the request.
Can you get equipment into a backyard on the river?
Usually through a side gate with compact equipment. Where a waterfront lot has no gate wide enough, we hand-carry brush or lift sections over the house. We work out the access at the estimate so it's in the price.
We also cover nearby Stuart, Jensen Beach and Hobe Sound.
